Responsibilities:
Prepare full vehicle CAE models using HYPERMESH/ANSA : Meshing, connection, assembly, constraints & load setting for automotive BIW and its sub-systems.
- Full vehicle NVH simulation using NASTRAN/ACTRAN
- Interpretation of results, comprehending failure modes shapes and providing directions for countermeasures.
- Report preparation: Communication with design and testing for implementation of countermeasures.
- Interact with testing teams for analyzing failures, correlation of CAE results with physical testing results and improvement in CAE methodology.
Application of Artificial Intelligent/Machine Learning in the NVH CAE
Technical/ Functional
:
- Must have knowledge of automotive noise and vibration.
- Must have knowledge of CAE & Meshing using Hypermesh.
- Good understanding of complete Transfer path for Road Noise/Power Train Noise including Suspension components.
- Positive understanding of automotive sheet metal & plastic part design.
- Debug the CAE model/ Nastran error independently.
- Should have experience of working with NVH CAE engineers and making design modifications based on CAE inputs.
- Candidate having “exposure to physical test procedure & ability to understand physical NVH test result” will be preferred.
- The ability to suggest effective countermeasures for performance improvement is desired.
Exposure to NVH related vehicle design aspect is desired.
