Job Summary/Objective :
The Power BI Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Power BI environment, ensuring secure, productive, and scalable reporting solutions. This role involves administration, governance,
performance tuning, and collaboration with business teams to enable self-service analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and maintain Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server environments, ensuring uptime and reliability.
Oversee and manage workspaces, datasets, dataflows, data gateways, and user permissions using best-in-class governance practices.
Establish, implement, and enforce security policies and compliance protocols for data access and usage in line with organizational and regulatory standards.
Improve the performance and responsiveness of Power BI reports and dashboards, including optimizing dataset refreshes and troubleshooting performance issues.
Deploy, configure, and maintain on-premises data gateways; resolve connectivity and integration issues between cloud and on-premises data sources.
