Role description

Required Skills: Oracle ATG or Any Ecommerce tool, Selenium/Playwright, API Testing

- This is an E-commerce-specific QE role.

The candidate should have hands-on experience working on an eCommerce project and must demonstrate familiarity with:

- Order creation flows from the frontend/user perspective
- Broader eCommerce order lifecycle and backend order placement processes
- Understanding of Order status transitions, Inventory handling, Delivery promise flows and Downstream fulfilment and order processing workflows

- Additionally, Automation Testing and API Testing are mandatory skills for this role.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer / SDET with strong expertise in Java-based automation, ATG platforms, and API testing within the Retail/Ecommerce domain.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in up-to-date test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute test strategies, plans, and processes
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java
- Perform API testing (REST & GraphQL) using Postman and Rest Assured
- Implement contract testing using Pact
- Create mocks and stubs using WireMock
- Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber
- Perform integration testing for microservices and backend systems
- Integrate automation suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Manage builds using Gradle or similar tools
- Generate reports using Allure
- Manage test cases and defects using XRay
- Collaborate with development, product,



and DevOps teams
- Ensure quality standards across the SDLC

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Java and ATG (Oracle Commerce)
- Hands-on API testing (REST, GraphQL)
- Experience with Pact and WireMock
- Mandatory experience with Cucumber (BDD)
- Good understanding of STLC and QA methodologies
- Experience with Gradle/Maven build tools
- Familiarity with Allure reporting and XRay test management
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
