Job Summary

The CNC Bending Operator is responsible for setting up, programming (where required), and operating CNC Press Brake/Bending machines to manufacture high-quality sheet metal components for industrial storage racks, shelving systems, and fabricated products. The role requires adherence to engineering drawings, production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures. �

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC Press Brake/Bending machines efficiently.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and bending layouts.

Select the correct punches, dies, and tooling for each job.

Set up machine parameters based on material thickness and bend specifications.

Ensure bending dimensions and angles meet drawing tolerances.

Inspect finished parts using Vernier calipers, angle gauges, and measuring tools.

Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.

Minimize material wastage and improve productivity.

Carry out routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

Report machine breakdowns and quality issues to the supervisor.

Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company quality standards.





Maintain daily production records and achieve production targets. �

Eligibility

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2–5 years of experience operating CNC Press Brake/Bending machines.

Experience in sheet metal fabrication or industrial racking manufacturing is preferred.

Required Skills

CNC Press Brake operation

Sheet metal bending

Blueprint/engineering drawing reading

Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, height gauge, angle gauge)

Tooling selection and machine setup

Quality inspection

Problem-solving and troubleshooting

Teamwork and safety awareness

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial storage racks, warehouse racking systems, display racks, or sheet metal fabrication.

Familiarity with machines such as Yawei, Amada, Trumpf, LVD, or similar CNC press brakes is an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
