- Set up and operate VMC/CNC machines.
- Load raw materials and secure workpieces properly.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine offsets.
- Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments as required.
- Measure finished parts using instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Ensure components meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Record production data and report any machine issues or defects.
- Follow workplace safety and quality procedures.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T; symbols.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Understanding of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
