Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MySQL Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing MySQL databases for high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database design, query optimization, stored procedures, replication, and performance tuning while collaborating closely with application development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases for enterprise applications.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Perform query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
- Design efficient database schemas and ensure data integrity.
- Implement database backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions.
- Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis.




- Work with development teams to support application integration and database enhancements.
- Manage database security, user roles, and access controls.
- Perform database migration, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Ensure adherence to database standards, best practices, and documentation.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience as a MySQL Developer/Database Developer.
- Strong expertise in MySQL 5.x/8.x.
- Advanced SQL programming and query optimization.
- Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Cursors.
- Solid knowledge of Indexing, Partitioning, and Execution Plans.
- Experience with MySQL Replication, Backup, Recovery, and High Availability.
- Hands-on experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Data Modeling and Database Design.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Good understanding of transaction management and database security.
