Job Description:
Job purpose

- Mobilise youth for vocational training/skill development programmes
- Mobilisation Executive/Officer act as a medium between Society and Organisation to connect the youth with relevant skill development courses

Duties and responsibilities

- Understand various skill development courses run by the organisation and requirements by trainees to enrol for the courses
- Develop rapport with relevant stakeholders – educational institutions; government institutions like panchayats, blocks; partner agencies; community etc.
- Conduct awareness sessions at schools, ITIs, colleges, communities etc. regarding the skill development courses
- Conduct door-to-door surveys in target localities as per pre-designed survey forms
- Advocate and counsel potential youth & their family members on the perks and job prospects of vocational training courses
- Conduct skill gap survey in close coordination with industries, govt. agencies and community
- Disseminate information to target groups regarding required documents to enrol for skill development courses
- Report target vs achievement on a regular basis
