Job Summary

Saffon Hotel is looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Captain & Cashier to oversee restaurant floor operations while managing guest billing and payment transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and hands-on experience with POS billing systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and ensure exceptional guest service.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Take orders and coordinate with the kitchen and service team for timely delivery.
- Handle guest billing through the POS system and process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Maintain cash float, prepare shift closing reports, and reconcile daily collections.
- Address guest queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Train and guide stewards to maintain service quality.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, housekeeping, and front office for smooth operations.
- Monitor table turnover, service efficiency,



and guest satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role in a hotel, restaurant, café, or fine-dining establishment.
- Education: Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using POS billing software.
- Strong cash-handling and billing knowledge.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Well-groomed with a professional and positive attitude.
