Consultant Anaesthetist

Location: BATRA HEART AND MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL FARIDABAD

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist to join our medical team. The role involves perioperative care, anesthesia administration and active involvement in ICU and critical care management.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer general, regional and local anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Provide post-operative care and pain management
- Respond to emergency and trauma cases

ICU & Critical Care Responsibilities

- Manage patients in ICU/critical care units
- Handle ventilator management and airway support
- Monitor critically ill patients and adjust treatment plans
- Participate in code blue/emergency response teams
- Coordinate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
- Perform procedures like intubation, central line placement, arterial lines .

Shift Structure

- Rotational shifts (Day/Night)
- On-call duties for emergency cases
- ICU coverage as per roster




- Flexibility to work in extended hours during critical cases

Candidate Requirements

- Strong expertise in anesthesia and critical care
- Experience in ICU/ventilator management preferred
- Ability to handle emergency and high-risk cases
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- High focus on patient safety and clinical standards

Qualification

- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology (mandatory)
- Valid medical registration (State Medical Council)

Experience

- Minimum 1+ years experience in hospital setup
- ICU/critical care exposure preferred

Salary
