About the Role

We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to own monitoring, support, and DevOps operations across our environments. You'll keep systems reliable, secure, and observable while driving automation and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

· 3+ years in an infrastructure/systems engineering role

· 2+ years hands-on with DevOps practices, security, and Linux administration

· 1+ years working with AWS

· Willing to work in 24×7 rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays as per roster)

Responsibilities

· Monitor production systems and respond to incidents (on-call rotation)

· Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines

· Manage Linux servers (provisioning, patching, hardening)

· Implement and maintain security controls, audits, and compliance checks

· Support development teams with infrastructure troubleshooting

· Manage AWS resources and optimize performance

· Write and maintain automation scripts and IaC

· Maintain documentation and runbooks

· Participate in a 24×7 shift roster to ensure round-the-clock monitoring and support coverage

Detailed Skillset

Linux (2+ yrs)

· RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu administration

· Shell scripting (Bash)

· Systemd, cron, log management (journald, syslog)

· File systems, disk management, LVM

· User/permission management, SSH hardening

· Package management (yum/apt)

· Performance tuning (CPU, memory, I/O troubleshooting)

· Kernel-level troubleshooting (strace, tcpdump, perf, sysctl tuning)





· High-availability clustering (Pacemaker, Corosync, keepalived)

· Advanced networking

DevOps (2+ yrs)

· CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar

· Containerization: Docker (required), Orchestration

· Infrastructure as Code : Terraform or CloudFormation

· Configuration management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

· Version control: Git/GitHub/GitLab workflows

· Artifact/package management (Nexus, Artifactory)

· GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, FluxCD)

· Cluster administration

· Blue-green/canary deployment strategies and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)

Security (2+ yrs)

· Linux hardening (CIS benchmarks)

· Current Infrastructure posture alignment with current security standards

· IAM policies and least-privilege access

· Vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, or similar)

· SSL/TLS certificate management

· Firewall configuration (iptables, security groups, NACLs)

· Secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)

· Basic compliance awareness (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS as applicable)

· DevSecOps integration (SAST/DAST tools in CI/CD, e.g., SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk)

· Incident response and forensics (log correlation, SIEM tools like Splunk/ELK Security)

· Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation design knowledge

AWS (1+ yrs)

· Core services: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS

· Networking: Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)

· Auto Scaling Groups

· CloudWatch (metrics, logs, alarms)





· Basic cost optimization/tagging

· Route53, CloudFront

· Multi-account AWS Organizations and cross-account IAM roles

· ECS deployment and management

· Well-Architected Framework implementation and Landing Zone design

Monitoring & Observability

· Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, Nagios, or Zabbix (any combination)

· Log aggregation: ELK/EFK stack, AWS (Cloudwatch and Security services), or Splunk

· Alerting configuration and on-call practices (PagerDuty/Opsgenie)

· APM basics (New Relic, Datadog APM — nice to have)

· Distributed tracing (Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, Zipkin)

· Custom metrics/exporters development and dashboard-as-code (eg:Grafana provisioning)

· SLI/SLO/error budget design and capacity planning

Support

· Incident response and root cause analysis

· Ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk)

· SLA/SLO/OLA awareness

· Clear technical communication with cross-functional teams

· Comfortable working in a 24×7 shift-based workplace

· Major incident management and post-mortem/blameless RCA facilitation

· Runbook automation and self-healing system design

· Cross-team escalation management during P1/P2 incidents

Nice to Have

· Scripting in Python

· Active Directory

· AIOps tooling familiarity and MLOps Infra basics

· Multicloud exposure (Azure)

· Certifications: AWS, RHCE

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
