Core Responsibilities

- Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical malfunctions in HVAC systems (e.g., chillers, VRF/VRV, and split AC units).
- Repairs & Maintenance: Perform critical repairs including compressor replacements, motor repairs, and refrigerant leak testing.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide junior technicians and helpers in office, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety codes, company policies, and environmental regulations regarding refrigerant handling.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients to explain system issues, provide repair estimates, and recommend efficiency upgrades.

Key Qualifications

- Experience: Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC or refrigeration systems.
- Education:



ITI or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, team leadership, and effective communication skills.

Salary & Local Context (Chennai)In the Chennai area, Senior AC Technician salaries generally range from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and the complexity of the HVAC systems handled (such as commercial VRF or chilled water systems)
