Roles and Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Maintains optimal stock levels, performs regular physical stock verification (cycle counting), and manages stock rotation to prevent obsolescence.
- Receiving & Issuance: Receives materials from suppliers, inspects for quality, and issues stock based on approved indents while updating records immediately.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintains accurate documentation of all transactions (purchases, sales, returns) and prepares daily/monthly reports for inventory accuracy.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinates with suppliers regarding the delivery of materials and manages procurement documentation, such as delivery challans and invoices.
- Storage & Organization: Organizes the storage area to optimize space, maintains cleanliness, and ensures safe storage practices.
- Staff Supervision: Supervises store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, particularly in retail settings.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensures the store adheres to company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention protocols.
