Description: TL is responsible for supervising daily coding operations, ensuring high levels of coding quality and maintaining productivity standards. This role requires an expert-level understanding of Profee surgery coding to coach the coding team to meet the client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Profee surgery coders; manage daily assignments, productivity, quality and TAT.

- Coding Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Profee surgery coding guidelines, including the expert use of modifiers.
- Surgical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge in multi-specialty surgery coding such as Orthopaedics, Integumentary, GI, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, GI, OBGYN etc.
- Conduct daily team huddles to deliver internal & external quality feedback and 1:1 discussions; track goals, training needs, and performance improvement plans.

- Provide training, mentoring, and support to coders and auditors on day-to-day coding.
- Perform ATA’s, Root cause analysis, and compliance reviews to identify coding gaps and educate the team.
- Stay updated on official coding guidelines (CMS,



AHA Coding Clinic, CPT Assistant and payer-specific policies).
- Develop DOU’s, SOP’s and workflow documents for the scope of work.
- Should have valuable knowledge in Microsoft Excel to prepare and validate work assignments and daily production reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Certification: Holding a Coding certification (CPC, COC, CCS-P, or equivalent).
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in multispecialty surgery coding with 1-2+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
- CPT/HCPCS, ICD‑10‑CM, modifiers, global surgical packages, NCCI/MUE, payer rules, LCD/NCD and payer-specific guidelines.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Candidate must be open to Work from office (No WFH for TL Role).
