Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer with experience in Automotive Software Testing and Manual Testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating software applications, identifying defects, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards, and maintaining comprehensive test documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of software testing methodologies within the automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.

Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.

Validate automotive software applications, embedded systems, and related modules.

Identify, document, track, and report software defects using defect management tools.

Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test reports, and traceability matrices.

Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

Review requirement specifications and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and testing processes.





Participate in requirement analysis, test estimation, and risk assessment activities.

Maintain accurate project documentation and testing records.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Experience in Automotive Domain Testing.

Positive understanding of defect tracking and test management tools.

Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Experience in preparing and maintaining testing documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year experience required (Freshers are not eligible)
