The Production Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all production activities to ensure secure, efficient, and hygienic manufacturing of packaged drinking water in compliance with BIS, FSSAI, GMP, and company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
- Plan and monitor daily production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Supervise bottle, pouch, and 20-litre jar production.
- Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Monitor shift-wise production reports.
Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with BIS IS 14543 requirements.
- Coordinate with the laboratory for quality testing.
- Ensure product quality before dispatch.
- Monitor TDS, pH, ozone, and microbiological parameters.
- Ensure proper sanitation of production areas.

- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain machine logbooks and maintenance records.
Manpower Management
- Allocate daily work to operators and helpers.
- Train employees on SOPs and safety.
- Monitor attendance and discipline.
- Evaluate employee performance.
