Job Title: Housekeeping supervisor
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper
Location: Pondicherry

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising housekeeping operations and staff.
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate with the front office, maintenance, and other departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping inventories, and ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available.
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards across all housekeeping activities.
- Assist in preparing departmental schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor staff attendance,



performance, and discipline in line with company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with robust attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and housekeeping management software.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
