About the Role

Intima Heart & Superspeciality Hospital is looking for a qualified and passionate Gastroenterologist to join our growing Gastro Sciences Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders while performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
- Evaluate, manage, and follow up on both acute and chronic gastroenterology patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease management and preventive care.
- Participate in departmental quality initiatives, clinical meetings, and continuous medical education.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and evidence-based clinical practices.

Qualifications Required

- DM/DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to ethical medical practice.





Preferred

- Experience in advanced endoscopy or interventional gastroenterology.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
