Responsibilities - Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, located at B-16, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi – 110016, invites applications for the position of Research Associate for an intramural funded research project.

Job Descriptions

- - Support study setup, regulatory submissions, IEC/CTRI documentation, and maintenance of audit-ready study files.
- Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, informed consent, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Assist in baseline assessments, outcome data collection, adverse event reporting, and participant tracking.
- Manage intervention scheduling, treatment compliance, and protocol adherence.
- Coordinate MRI appointments and maintain imaging documentation and records.
- Perform accurate data entry, quality checks, data management, and progress reporting.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, ethical guidelines, and GCP standards.
- Facilitate communication among investigators, therapists, MRI teams, and participants.
- Support literature review, presentations, manuscripts, and project reporting activities.
- Assist in designing and distributing recruitment materials such as pamphlets, flyers, posters, and digital awareness content.




- Support patient enrolment strategies through hospital outreach, clinician referrals and community engagement.
- Any other responsibility given by the Head of the department.

- Qualifications and Experience - Required Qualifications

Essential

- Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (MPT/MSPT) or related rehabilitation sciences field.
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and lumbar spine conditions.
- Basic understanding of clinical research methodology and ethics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred

- Prior experience in clinical research or RCTs.
- Training in Positive Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Experience in participant recruitment and data management.
- Familiarity with outcome measures used in musculoskeletal rehabilitation research.
- Basic understanding of statistical software/data handling (R/SPSS).
