Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the sales team, developing effective sales strategies, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and expertise in domestic and international travel packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Monitor daily sales activities, enquiries, follow-ups, quotations, and conversions.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, corporate accounts, travel agents, and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities through corporate tie-ups, referrals, and networking.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of customized travel quotations and itineraries.
- Coordinate with Operations, Visa, Ticketing, and Finance teams to ensure smooth customer service.
- Analyze sales reports, customer trends, and market performance to improve sales strategies.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports for management.
- Ensure CRM is updated with accurate customer and sales information.
- Recruit, train,
and develop high-performing sales professionals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in travel and tourism sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading a sales team.
- Experience in international holiday packages, FIT, GIT, MICE, luxury travel, or corporate travel is preferred.
