Job Title: Electrician – Maintenance

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician with experience in the paper manufacturing industry to ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical systems, machinery, and production lines. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and compliance with industry-specific safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and repair electrical systems for paper machines, pulp processing units, and auxiliary equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime in production.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels.
- Install and calibrate sensors, switches, and automation systems used in paper manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to resolve cross-functional issues.




- Respond promptly to breakdowns and support continuous production operations.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
- 2–5 years of experience as an electrician in the paper or process industry.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, AC/DC motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Valuable problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience with paper machine electrical systems (dryers, presses, winders).
- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices in heavy industry.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
