Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join our Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment while ensuring compliance with NABH standards and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate autoclaves, ETO sterilizers, washer disinfectors, and other CSSD equipment.
- Monitor and document sterilization cycles using physical, chemical, and biological indicators.
- Prepare and issue sterile instrument sets to OT, ICU, wards, and other clinical departments.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory of sterile supplies.




- Ensure adherence to infection control practices, CSSD protocols, and NABH guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
- Coordinate with Operation Theatre and other departments to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Qualifications

- Diploma/Certificate in CSSD Technology or Operation Theatre Technology (OTT).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a CSSD Technician in a hospital.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
