Qualification: Degree/ Diploma Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Temperature control systems, vacuum systems, jacketed glass reactors and distillation systems, rotary evaporators and thin film evaporators.
The Sales Engineer will work with a premium portfolio of global process-equipment brands, including: AGI (Japan), DIEHM (Germany), LAUDA (Germany), GENSER (Germany), VTA (Germany), VACUUBRAND (Germany).
Role Summary:
This is a techno-commercial sales position focused on premium process equipment. The role primarily serves the pharma, chemical, and R&D; sectors and requires strong product understanding combined with customer-facing sales ability providing right technical solution.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement
Visit client sites to understand their processes and recommend suitable equipment. Work alongside the Area Sales Manager to evaluate leads, prepare proposals, and support presentations.
Technical Support
Build in-depth product knowledge to advise customers on equipment selection and configuration. Conduct post-installation visits to gather feedback and address operational queries, strengthening long-term customer relationships.
Quotations & Proposals
Review customer requirement documents (URS/RFQs),



ensure accurate product configuration in quotations, and follow up consistently to drive deal closure.
Product Demonstrations
Coordinate and support demos and trials to build customer confidence and aid conversion.
Training & Development
Participate in ongoing product training, upgrade technical knowledge and over the time contribute to on-boarding recent team members.
Reporting & Market Insight
Maintain disciplined reporting — weekly visit plans, post-meeting reports, and tracking of opportunities. Share market and competitor insights to support broader sales strategy.
Payment Follow-up

Ensured timely collection of outstanding payments through regular client follow-ups

Clear communication and presentation skills
High ownership of follow-ups and deal closure
Comfort with negotiation and commercial discussions
Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits
