Job Summary
Himalaya Refrigeration Company is looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter to handle assembly and fitting of refrigeration units and related components. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical assembly work, ensuring proper alignment, fitting accuracy, and readiness of equipment for testing and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of refrigeration systems and components
- Assemble parts such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, piping, and structural components
- Read and follow assembly drawings and technical instructions
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting accuracy, and quality standards
- Assist in drilling, tapping, cutting, and basic fabrication work
- Support in pressure testing and pre-commissioning checks
- Coordinate with design and production teams for smooth assembly process
- Identify and report any assembly issues or defects
- Maintain tools, equipment,
and clean working area
Required Qualifications
- ITI in Fitter / Mechanical / Electrical
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in assembly or fitting work
- Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or fabrication industry preferred
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly practices
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings
- Hands-on experience with tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment
- Basic understanding of refrigeration components (added advantage)
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Team-oriented and disciplined work approach
- Willingness to learn and improve skills
