Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer – Real Estate

Location: Baner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, project budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and overall cost control for residential and commercial real estate projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success and contractual integrity of ongoing and upcoming developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets based on project drawings and specifications.

Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and cost plans.

Tendering & Procurement:

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs),



tender documents, and assist in evaluating contractor bids.

Support the procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services.

Cost Control & Monitoring:

Monitor project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.

Track variations, value engineering opportunities, and provide cost reports.

Site Coordination:

Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and consultants for measurement and verification.

Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work done for payments.

Reporting:

Prepare regular cost and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Provide input on cost implications of design changes and project scope revisions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience in the real estate or construction industry.

Robust knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Primavera P6).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects.

Knowledge of local building codes and cost indices.
