We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Technician/Assistant to join our Eye hospital. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless surgical operations by providing assistance to our ophthalmic surgeons and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an eye care setting and a strong understanding of healthcare quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Surgical Assistance: Provide proficient scrub and circulating assistance during various ophthalmic surgeries (e.g., Cataract, Lasik, Glaucoma, Retina procedures).
- OT Preparation: Prepare, sterilize, and arrange specialized ophthalmic surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables prior to surgeries.
- Compliance & Quality: Strictly adhere to NABH norms, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines to maintain a sterile and compliant OT environment.
- Patient Care: Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-operative care within the theatre zone.
- Inventory Management:



Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels of OT medicines, lenses, and surgical supplies, reporting any equipment maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma or Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience working in an Eye Hospital or specifically assisting in Ophthalmic surgeries is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of NABH guidelines and sterilization techniques.
- Familiarity with ophthalmic surgical tools and micro-surgical equipment.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
