Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Kronos / UKG Functional Consultant with 8 to 12 years of expertise in implementing, configuring, optimizing, and supporting Workforce Management (WFM) solutions.

In this role, you will act as a primary subject matter expert (SME), bridging the gap between business processes and Kronos/UKG technology. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to translate complex business and labor requirements into efficient system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Architecture & Implementation: Lead full life-cycle implementations, upgrades, and enhancements for Kronos / UKG Workforce Central (WFC) and/or UKG Pro / Dimensions.

- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather business requirements, document process flows, and create detailed functional specification documents (FSD).

- System Configuration: Configure core modules including Timekeeper, Attendance, Accruals, Advanced Scheduler, Forecasting, and Leave Management.

- Labor & Pay Policy Rules: Translate complex union agreements, company pay policies, and local labor laws (FLSA, overtime, shift differentials, meal/break rules) into technical configurations.

- Integration & Interface Management: Collaborate with technical teams to define and validate interfaces between Kronos and HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, Oracle).





- Testing & Quality Assurance: Design test scenarios, write unit/UAT test scripts, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.

- Deployment & Change Management: Support cutover activities, end-user training, hypercare, and system documentation.

- Optimization & Support: Serve as an escalation point for Tier 3 functional issues, root-cause analysis, system audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 8–12 years of core functional experience working with Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) and/or UKG Dimensions / Pro Workforce Management.

- Module Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of:

1. Timekeeper & Pay Rules

2. Attendance & Leave Management

3. Accruals & Person Import

4. Advanced Scheduling & Forecasting

5. InTouch Clocks / Terminal Configuration

- Business Analysis: Solid capability in gap analysis, solution design, and translating complex labor policies into system logic.

- Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with WIF (Workforce Integration Manager), Dell Boomi, or UKG APIs for data exchange.

- Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of labor laws, union rules, and payroll processes.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to manage senior enterprise stakeholders.
