We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally, GST, TDS, payroll, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally/ERP.
- Record daily financial transactions and bank entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.
- Process employee payroll and reimbursements.
- Generate invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Manage accounts payable and vendor payments.
- Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and banks.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (ERP knowledge is a plus).
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (Preferred).
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good to Have
- Experience working in startups or multiple companies.
- Knowledge of Zoho Books, Busy, or other accounting software.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.
