About Keetup

Keetup develops and markets animal-nutrition products for domestic and export markets, including aquafeed, insect-based feed ingredients and pet products. We work with third-party manufacturers and are expanding our export product portfolio and production volumes.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced aquafeed qualified to take technical ownership of our feed formulations, product quality, manufacturing trials and new-product development.

The role will work closely with third-party manufacturers, laboratories, suppliers, farms, customers and the internal operations team to ensure that Keetup’s products are commercially competitive, consistently manufactured and technically reliable.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimise floating and sinking aquafeed formulations for tilapia, carp, catfish and other priority species.
- Carry out least-cost formulation while maintaining nutritional performance and product quality.
- Maintain raw-material nutrient matrices, master formulations and formulation change records.
- Supervise factory trials and commercial production at third-party manufacturing facilities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to extrusion, pelleting, drying, coating, floatability, water stability, pellet quality and fines.
- Establish raw-material, in-process and finished-product quality specifications.
- Create sampling, testing, batch-release, retention-sample and traceability systems.
- Investigate batch deviations, customer complaints and feed-performance issues.
- Design and supervise feeding trials, field trials and competitor benchmarking.
- Coordinate new products from formulation and trials through commercial production.




- Prepare technical specifications, product data sheets, COAs, feeding guidelines and export documentation.
- Identify opportunities to reduce formulation cost, improve consistency and reduce manufacturing wastage.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturers, distributors, farmers and internal teams.

Candidate Requirements

- M.F.Sc. in Fish Nutrition & Feed Technology, Aquaculture or a related discipline.
- Candidates with an M.V.Sc. or postgraduate qualification in Animal Nutrition may be considered if they have strong commercial aquafeed experience.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3–5 years of direct commercial aquafeed-formulation responsibility.
- Hands-on experience with floating or extruded fish feed.
- Experience working with feed plants, manufacturing trials and production troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of feed ingredients, nutrient matrices, quality systems and cost optimisation.
- Experience conducting feeding or field trials.
- Ability to work independently and manage third-party manufacturers.
- Willingness to travel frequently and stay near manufacturing sites when required.

Preferred Experience

- Freshwater fish-feed experience, particularly tilapia, carp or catfish.
- Experience with formulation software.
- Exposure to insect protein, alternative ingredients, poultry feed or pet food.
- Experience with export documentation, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 or similar quality systems.
- Experience handling technical customer complaints and product-performance issues.

Pay: ₹720,000.00 - ₹960,000.00 per year
