Job Description – AutoCAD Draftsman

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with solid expertise in converting physical

product samples into accurate 2D/3D technical drawings. The role involves preparing

detailed documentation of drawings, production processes, and specifications to support

product development, prototyping, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

 Convert physical samples into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and

related design software.

 Create 2D and 3D drawings, detailed layouts, and production-ready documents.

 Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, tolerances, and manufacturing

requirements.

 Prepare bill of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and process documentation.

 Collaborate with R&D, production, and design teams to ensure accuracy and

feasibility of drawings.

 Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, supervisors, or

production teams.

 Maintain proper documentation and filing of all design records for traceability.

 Support in creating process flow diagrams and documentation for manufacturing

steps.

 Assist in continuous improvement of drawing and documentation practices.

 Know-how of creating CAM Files for Machines.

Qualifications & Skills

 Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Design, or a related field.





 Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in manufacturing or product design.

 Strong ability to interpret physical samples, sketches, and rough concepts into

detailed CAD drawings.

 Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD

software is an advantage.

 Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.

 Strong documentation skills for creating production manuals, technical reports,

and process notes.

 Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under timelines.

 Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

 Experience in furniture, upholstery, or manufacturing industry.

 Exposure to product development cycles from concept to production.

 Knowledge of process improvement and lean documentation practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
