We are looking for a highly skilled FinOps & Cloud Optimization Lead to bridge the gap between engineering excellence and financial efficiency in cloud operations. This role combines deep expertise in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and FinOps to design, implement, and govern cloud operations frameworks that drive agility, reliability, security, and cost optimization across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

Responsibilities

- Lead cloud cost management and optimization initiatives using Apptio Cloudability and FinOps best practices
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep
- Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
- Establish cloud financial governance frameworks including showback, chargeback, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation
- Analyze cloud spend and recommend optimization opportunities through rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, auto-scaling, and resource scheduling
- Implement containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
- Develop cloud cost dashboards, reporting, anomaly detection,



and budget monitoring solutions
- Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Product, and Cloud Operations teams to align cloud investments with business objectives
- Drive DevSecOps, SRE, observability, and automation best practices across cloud environments

Requirements

- 6–10 years of experience in DevOps, CloudOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or FinOps, with hands-on experience in cloud cost management and optimization
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Apptio Cloudability and/or Apptio FinOps solutions
- Solid experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep) and CI/CD tools
- Deep understanding of cloud billing models, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and optimization techniques
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP) and cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are preferred
