Job Title: Site Engineer – Telecom

Location: Tambaram (Chennai), Kanchipuram, Nagapattinam, Udumalaipettai, Mettupalayam, Red Hills (Chennai)

Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for executing telecom installation, commissioning, operation & maintenance activities while ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion. The role includes site supervision, team coordination, client interaction, documentation, and adherence to company and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise telecom installation and commissioning activities at project sites.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom network equipment.
- Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure work is completed as per customer specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports.
- Monitor installation of BTS, Microwave, Transmission, Power Systems, Battery Banks, and related telecom infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.




- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify material availability and maintain site inventory records.
- Coordinate with clients regarding site readiness, work progress, and issue resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation, testing, commissioning records, and handover reports.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of telecom services.
- Maintain project documentation and update management regularly.

Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or related discipline.
- Freshers may apply (training will be provided). Experience is an added advantage.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of telecom infrastructure and equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- MS Office knowledge.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
