Job Summary

The Account Head will be responsible for managing the overall finance and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial planning within the diamond/jewellery business.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation)
- Manage inventory accounting for diamonds, jewellery, and precious stones
- Ensure accurate costing, valuation, and stock reconciliation
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports
- Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) and manage audits
- Monitor and control company budgets and expenses
- Supervise and guide the accounts team
- Manage export-import documentation & financial transactions (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with diamond industry regulations and financial practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com),



CA / Inter CA preferred
- Strong knowledge of GST, Tally/ERP systems, and financial reporting
- Experience in diamond/jewellery industry accounting is mandatory
- Good understanding of inventory-heavy business models
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with diamond trading, manufacturing, or retail companies
- Knowledge of export billing, foreign transactions, and currency handling
- Familiarity with lab-grown diamond business operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
