Job Summary

The Purified Water (PW) Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and documentation of the Purified Water generation, storage, and distribution system. The role ensures continuous supply of purified water in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the Purified Water (PW) generation and distribution system.
- Perform routine checks of pumps, valves, pipelines, tanks, UV systems, and instrumentation.
- Record operating parameters such as pressure, flow, conductivity, temperature, and TOC as per SOP.
- Perform system sanitization and regeneration activities as per schedule.
- Carry out routine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Report any equipment malfunction or abnormal operating conditions to the Utility Supervisor.
- Coordinate with the QA and Maintenance departments during validation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper documentation in logbooks, checklists, and batch records.
- Follow GMP, GDP, EHS, and company safety procedures.
- Assist during audits and inspections by providing required documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the utility area.

Qualifications

- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical,



or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical utilities (Freshers may be considered for trainee roles).

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Purified Water (PW) systems.
- Understanding of RO, EDI, Softener, Multimedia Filter, Carbon Filter, UV, and Distribution Loop.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and documentation practices.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in USFDA, EU-GMP, WHO-GMP, or MHRA approved pharmaceutical plants.
- Knowledge of SCADA/BMS operation is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
