JD - Shift Engineer (MEP – O&M;)
Full time on-site role responsible for ensuring smooth and uninterrupted facility operations for common areas, covering electrical, mechanical, HVAC, safety systems, vendor coordination, and client support.
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. (Is a must)
Auto CAD, ERP & Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Should be currently handling Commercial Building Operations (Minimum 3-5years)
Open to rotational shift including Night Shifts
Electrical License would be added a plus.
Key Responsibilities Manage daily facility operations across common areas.
Monitor and maintain electrical infrastructure — LT/HT panels, risers, DG, UPS, and lighting.
Oversee HVAC operations, including chiller performance, cooling tower efficiency, AHU/FAHU operation, and coordination with OEM/AMC vendors for defects and optimization.
Conduct preventive maintenance for electrical, HVAC, fire pumps, STP, WTP, and plumbing systems.
Perform troubleshooting and ensure rapid restoration to minimize downtime.
Maintain uptime and performance of HVAC systems, chillers, and cooling towers.
Prepare, read, and update SLDs and layout drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare BOQs, technical scopes, and material requirement sheets.
Handle vendor sourcing, technical evaluation,
and negotiation for maintenance and project works.
Address client complaints, ensure timely resolution, and implement corrective actions.
Track breakdowns, rectification history, and maintain daily shift logs.
Support facility budgeting through cost tracking and planning inputs.
Monitor utility consumption and support energy optimization.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational SOPs.
Maintain shift discipline, communication, and proper handover processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Strong proficiency in Facilities Engineering & Facility Operations.
Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and building services.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and updating drawings.
Experience in BOQ preparation, vendor sourcing, and negotiation.
Ability to support facility budgeting, cost control, and planning.
Familiarity with building safety norms, statutory guidelines, and emergency procedures.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
CTC – Upto Rs 3,50,000/-
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
