Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the complete accounting and financial operations at the client’s office. This position acts as the senior authority in Finance and Accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. The individual will serve as the primary in-charge for maintaining books of accounts, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow management while providing strategic financial insights to the management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Zoho Books, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports(MIS), and profitability analyses.
- Conduct bank reconciliations,



monitor cash flow, and manage liquidity to ensure operational stability.

2. Statutory Compliance & Audits

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, returns, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements.
- Liaise with Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, and auditors for internal and external audits.
- Maintain all supporting documentation, vouchers, and records for audit and compliance purposes.

3. Branch & Transactional Control

- Perform branch-level reconciliations on a weekly basis to verify balances and transaction accuracy.
- Monitor and validate branch petty cash balances, ensuring alignment with company books.
- Implement control measures to prevent accounting errors, fund leakage, and irregularities.

4. Management Coordination & Financial Planning

- Initiate periodic review meetings with management to discuss business trends, cash flow position, and financial projections.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations for improving profitability and operational efficiency.
- Assist management in budgeting, cost control, and fund flow planning to support business goals.

5. Leadership & Ownership

- Act as the senior authority and in-charge of the finance and accounts function at the client’s office.
- Ensure all accounting and financial activities adhere to company policies, internal controls, and qualified ethics.
- Represent the Finance department in all management discussions and decision-making related to financial matters.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
