Job Summary

The Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to diploma students, conducting laboratory sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental and institutional development. The faculty member shall ensure effective implementation of the curriculum as prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and AICTE guidelines while promoting industry-oriented learning and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver theory lectures, practical sessions, tutorials, and workshops as per the academic timetable.
- Prepare lesson plans, course files, teaching materials, and laboratory manuals.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and records.
- Evaluate students through class tests, practical examinations, assignments, and semester assessments.
- Guide students in mini projects, industrial visits, seminars, and technical competitions.
- Mentor students for academic improvement, discipline, and career development.
- Maintain attendance records, internal assessment records, and academic documentation.
- Participate in curriculum implementation, departmental meetings, accreditation activities, and quality initiatives.
- Assist in admission,



examination, training & placement, and institute-level academic activities.
- Organize technical events, workshops, guest lectures, and value-added programs.
- Continuously upgrade technical knowledge through FDPs, seminars, certifications, and industry interaction.
- Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department or Principal.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) or Master's Degree (M.E/ M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering with First Class .

Experience

- Freshers with excellent academic records may apply.
- Candidates with prior teaching or relevant industrial experience will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and diploma curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to conduct practical sessions and use up-to-date teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office, digital teaching tools, and learning management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills.
