Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer intern with 0-6 months of experience in the IT domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating transparent, concise, and user-friendly documentation for software products, APIs, and internal processes. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain technical documentation including user guides, API documentation, SOPs, installation manuals, and knowledge base articles
- Work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to gather technical information
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly content
- Create and maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guides
- Update documentation based on product releases, updates, and enhancements
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all documentation
- Work with Docs-as-Code approach, version control systems (Git), and collaborative tools
- Review, edit, and proofread content for clarity and correctness
- Support documentation during product releases and sprint cycles

Required Skills

- technical writing (IT/software domain)




- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in API documentation and developer-focused content
- Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, Markdown, or similar
- Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and Docs-as-Code practices
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or XML is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience working in IT services, SaaS, or product-based companies
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
