Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Assess project and resource requirements including manpower, raw material (RM), and machine capacity to meet production targets.
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage the workforce on the shop floor, including man-power planning and process time studies to optimize workflow.
- Implement and monitor 5S practices on the shop floor to maintain discipline, safety, and productivity.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using tools such as TIMWOOD, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and coordinate BOM (Bill of Materials) validation and production line set-up.
- Track and secure On-Time Delivery (OTD); analyze OTD losses through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and reconcile EDS (End of Dispatch Sale) inventory and ensure timely inventory submission.
- Estimate production costs and assist in preparing departmental budgets.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of production staff; identify training needs and conduct relevant sessions on Lean, SCM, and production tools.
- Coordinate the sanctioning and purchase of production equipment as per operational requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of FG (Finished Goods) stock reports, DPR (Daily Production Report), and HPR (Hourly Production Report).
- Liaise with quality, stores, dispatch,



and merchandising teams to ensure seamless order execution and compliance with buyer/brand requirements.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies on the shop floor.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; MBA in Operations preferred.
- 10-12 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in pet soft goods, textile, home furnishing, or allied export-oriented industries.
- Certification in Lean Management / Lean Six Sigma (Yellow, or Green Belt) will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and standard ERP/production tracking systems.

Preferred Industry Background

Prior experience in textile, home furnishing, or pet soft goods manufacturing will be preferred.
