Medical Gas Management

- Operate the medical gas manifold system.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen and other medical gases.
- Replace empty cylinders with filled cylinders safely.
- Maintain adequate reserve cylinders.
- Verify correct gas identification before connection.
- Ensure proper segregation of empty and filled cylinders.

Monitoring

- Monitor manifold pressure continuously.
- Check alarm systems regularly.
- Monitor gas consumption.
- Report abnormal pressure fluctuations immediately.

Safety

- Follow all MGPS safety protocols.
- Ensure protected handling of high-pressure cylinders.
- Prevent gas leakage.
- Keep manifold room clean and free from combustible materials.
- Ensure "No Smoking" regulations are followed.

Documentation

- Maintain manifold log book.
- Record:
- Cylinder replacement
- Gas pressure
- Gas consumption
- Alarm incidents
- Maintenance activities
- Maintain daily and monthly records.

Maintenance

- Perform routine inspection of:
- Pressure gauges
- Regulators
- Valves
- Flexible hoses
- Alarm panels
- Report defects immediately.
- Assist Engineering team during preventive maintenance.

Emergency Responsibilities





- Respond immediately to manifold alarms.
- Switch over gas supply during emergencies.
- Coordinate with Engineering Department.
- Inform Nursing, ICU, OT and other departments during gas interruptions.
- Assist in disaster management whenever required.

Quality & NABH Compliance

- Follow hospital SOPs.
- Participate in departmental meetings.
- Attend mandatory training programmes.
- Participate in competency assessments.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards.

Infection Control

- Follow Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of manifold area.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Fire & Safety

- Follow fire safety guidelines.
- Participate in fire drills.
- Ensure availability of fire extinguishers.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.

Other Responsibilities

- Perform duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
