Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and creative R&D; Executive – Cosmetics to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative cosmetic formulations that align with global trends, regulatory standards, and client expectations. This role requires both technical knowledge and a passion for creating exceptional personal care products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research, develop, and formulate new cosmetic products including creams, lotions, serums, face masks, cleansers, and more.
- Conduct stability and compatibility testing to ensure product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and marketing.
- Analyze raw materials for suitability and compatibility in formulation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, test results, and product revisions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, ingredients, and regulations in the cosmetic industry.
- Assist in scaling formulations from lab to production scale.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, FDA, and international cosmetic regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Education / Certifications:

- B.Sc / M.Sc in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.




- Additional certifications in cosmetic formulation or dermatological sciences are a plus.

Hard Skills:

- Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulation techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and processes.
- Understanding of GMP, ISO, and regulatory guidelines for cosmetic products.
- Experience with formulation software is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

- 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care product formulation.
- Experience working in a private label or contract manufacturing setup is preferred.
- Exposure to international cosmetic standards (e.g., EU, US FDA) is beneficial.
