ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

- To manage daily warehouse and store operations ensuring accurate inventory control, proper material handling, and timely coordination of inbound and outbound logistics activities.

2. To support operational efficiency through effective stock management, documentation accuracy, warehouse organization, and coordination with suppliers, transporters, and courier agencies.

3. To ensure that all materials are properly stored, protected, identified, and handled according to company standards, safety regulations, and inventory management procedures.

ROLE TASKS

- Warehouse & Store Management

a. Manage day-to-day warehouse and storekeeping activities.

b. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and optimized storage layout following safety standards and FIFO methodology.

c. Ensure all materials are properly labeled, protected, and stored in designated locations.

d. Maintain proper handling and storage conditions for mechanical and oil-based parts.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

a. Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels.

b. Perform regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.

c. Maintain accurate inventory transactions and stock movement records.

d. Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits when required.

e. Maintain Ledger Books, Bin Cards, and inventory tracking documentation.

3. Receiving & Inspection

a. Receive incoming goods and verify quantities against Purchase Orders and invoices.

b. Inspect incoming materials for damages, defects, or discrepancies.

Coordinate unloading activities and ensure proper material receipt documentation.

d. Record and manage FOC, warranty, testing, and returnable materials.

4. Dispatch & Logistics

a. Coordinate picking, packing, loading, and shipment preparation activities.

b. Prepare delivery documentation including Delivery Challans and LRs.

c. Maintain inward and outward movement records.

d. Ensure material condition photos are recorded before dispatch.

e. Coordinate courier pickups and follow up on deliveries and proof of delivery acknowledgements.

5. Vendor & Transport Coordination

a. Coordinate with suppliers, courier agencies, transporters, crane operators, and truck drivers.

b. Monitor packing material availability and support logistics planning activities.

6. Documentation & Systems

a. Maintain accurate and updated warehouse records and documentation.

b. Update ERP/system transactions related to inventory movement and logistics activities.

c. Support reporting and data tracking using MS Excel and company systems.

EDUCATION

Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management processes.

Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory tracking tools.

Understanding of FIFO methodology and warehouse organization principles.

Ability to manage inventory documentation and logistics records.

Basic understanding of material handling and logistics coordination.
