Team Leader – Compressor Operations & Maintenance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Compressor Operations & Maintenance to oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HT & LT air compressors. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with minimum 3000 CFM compressors, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompressor Operations

- Operate HT & LT air compressors as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor compressor parameters such as pressure, temperature, current, and vibration.
- Perform safe start-up and shutdown of compressors.
- Ensure uninterrupted compressed air supply as per plant requirements.

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Inspect oil levels, air filters, cooling systems, belts, bearings, and other critical components.
- Replace faulty or worn-out parts to maintain equipment reliability.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime through effective maintenance planning.

Troubleshooting

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Attend breakdowns promptly to minimize production loss.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.





Safety & Compliance

- Follow all safety regulations and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure compressors operate within safe pressure, temperature, and electrical limits.
- Report unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with company safety standards.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain compressor logbooks, maintenance records, and downtime reports.
- Prepare daily and monthly performance reports.
- Track preventive maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and breakdown history.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with HT & LT Compressors (Minimum 3000 CFM).
- Strong knowledge of compressor operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and LOTO.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility

- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in compressor operation and maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial workplace.
- Team handling experience will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
