Role Overview:

We're seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js to design and build scalable, secure backend services for our healthcare platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers while ensuring the highest code quality and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Backend Development: Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and frameworks like Express.

- System Architecture: Contribute to scalable, high-performance backend designs.

- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best practices.

- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and support their growth.

- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams.

- Database & Security: Design scalable databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and implement security best practices (e.g.,



HIPAA).

- Cloud Infrastructure: Use AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for scalable cloud deployments.

- Optimization: Focus on system performance, debugging, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of backend development experience, specializing in Node.js.

- Expertise with Express.js, NestJS, and RESTful APIs.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

- Security knowledge, HIPAA compliance.
