Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
- Defect documentation and having oversight over defect lifecycle.
- Participate in the design and implementation of automated test suit.
- Provide detailed and clear bug reports to the development team.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Qualifications
- Completed BE, B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent
- ISTQB Foundation certification preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 0-1 year of experience in software testing.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
- Solid understanding of SDLC and corresponding QA activities
- Good practical knowledge of test management and reporting tools preferably Jira
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities,
- Ability to be decisive and detail-oriented
- Ability to function with minimal oversight and work under pressure
- Willing to learn and implement test automation frameworks
- Understanding of any Object-Oriented Language preferably Java
- Understanding of API and familiarity with Postman
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Playwright for test automation.
- Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting concepts is an added advantage.
