Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drawing & Design Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in SolidWorks. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and supporting vendor coordination while building prototyping.

Key Responsibilities

· Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.

· Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly and GA drawings.

· Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs).

· Modify existing designs based on customer or production requirements.

· Coordinate with production, quality and procurement teams.

· Ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.

· Maintain drawing revisions and technical documentation.

· Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills





· Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (3D Modeling, Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Weldments and Drafting).

· Knowledge of manufacturing, machining and fabrication processes.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

· Understanding of GD&T; is preferred.

· Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in machinery, industrial equipment, fabricated products or material handling systems.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.

· Exposure to ERP systems and engineering documentation practices.

· Utilization of AI tools to reduce total design time.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
