We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – US Audit to manage audit engagements, review workpapers, and lead a team in delivering high-quality audits for NPO, EBP, and financial clients. The role requires robust technical expertise, client interaction, and team management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and review audits for NPO, EBP, and financial audits in accordance with US GAAP and GAAS
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans to address identified risks
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
- Review audit documentation, workpapers, and ensure quality and completeness
- Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and reports to clients
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements




- Act as a key point of contact for client coordination and engagement management
- Mentor and guide junior team members; review their work for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient audit delivery
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance audit methodologies

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in US Audit (NPO, EBP, and Financial Audits preferred)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, and auditing procedures
- Experience in reviewing work and handling small teams
- Proficiency in audit tools and MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good client communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
