Senior Design Engineer – Impregnation Line

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop complete Impregnation Lines for decorative laminate manufacturing.
- Prepare 2D/3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Design resin impregnation systems, drying ovens, web handling systems, unwind/rewind units, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform engineering calculations and optimize machine designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, Electrical & Controls, Procurement, and Quality teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, ERP data, and drawing revisions.
- Ensure timely project execution while adhering to quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in designing Impregnation Lines, Web Handling Systems, Continuous Process Machinery, or Heavy Industrial Equipment.




- Strong understanding of paper impregnation processes, resin handling systems, drying technology, and material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge/SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of fabrication, machining, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
