Who are we?
Shama Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) is an Allied Health Sciences institution delivering competency-based Diploma across disciplines such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology, and Dialysis Technology.
Started in 2016, SIMS is affiliated to the Karnataka State Allied Health and Sciences Board and attached to HBS Hospital - a 100 bedded multi-specialty facility in Bangalore.
Over the years, SIMS has focused on competency based education through dedicated life skills and IT training modules, alongside mock interviews and placement-oriented preparation, etc. to ensure career readiness in healthcare.

Who are we looking to hire?
SIMS is strengthening its Allied Health Sciences programmes through competency-based education, high-quality teaching, practical training, curriculum innovation, and stronger partnerships with hospitals and educational institutions.
The Program Associate will play a key role in academic development by contributing to teaching, curriculum and content development, programme implementation, and institutional outreach. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building academic programmes, engaging with students, and collaborating with healthcare and educational partners to strengthen Allied Health Sciences education.
Position: Full-Time
What will be your responsibilities?
We are looking for someone who is keen to contribute to the holistic development of young healthcare professionals through teaching, training, and curriculum development.
Working closely with the Program Director,
the Program Associate will:
- Teach and facilitate Diploma and BSc AHS students in clinical, non-clinical/life-skills domains, as required.
- Develop modules, including lesson plans and assessments, focusing on the clinical and non-clinical development of students and aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Pilot-test the developed modules in collaboration with healthcare partners.
- Integrate technology and AI-enabled tools into teaching, training, and content development.
What qualifications are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Allied Health Sciences, B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, or another relevant healthcare or life-sciences discipline.
- Master’s degree in Education, Public Health
- Experience in teaching, academic coordination, curriculum development, and facilitating sessions across clinical, non-clinical/life-skills areas is preferred.
What skills are we looking at?
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual who:
- Has strong content-development skills and can simplify complex clinical and non-clinical concepts into engaging learning experiences.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Kannada and/or Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Is confident using digital technologies and AI tools to enhance teaching and content development.
- Has robust planning, coordination, outreach, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Is organised, proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
- Is committed to building a long-term association with SIMS.
Pay: From ₹360,000.00 per year
