Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Team Lead (Qualys)

Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled and caring Cybersecurity Team Lead to join our client's team with excellent communication and strong articulation.

In this role, you will manage the Qualys platform and lead a team of engineers. You will make sure our systems stay safe, stable, and up to date.

You will work with teams across IT, cloud, and factory systems. Your goal is to keep everything running smoothly while improving security every day.

Responsibilities

- Lead and guide a team of cybersecurity engineers
- Manage daily operations of the Qualys platform
- Ensure systems are stable, safe, and performing well
- Plan and manage platform maintenance (agents, scanners, updates)
- Track work, set priorities, and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Manage vulnerability scans and fix issues quickly
- Ensure full coverage across IT, cloud, and factory systems
- Work with other teams to support smooth and safe operations
- Maintain accurate asset data and system records
- Support risk-based decisions with explicit reports and dashboards
- Improve processes and find better ways of working




- Handle changes carefully in sensitive and critical environments
- Coach and mentor team members for growth and success

Qualifications

- 810 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Strong hands-on experience with the Qualys platform
- Positive leadership and team management skills
- Candidate should be confident, have excellent communication and strong articulation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Experience working in large and complex environments
- Knowledge of IT, cloud, and factory/OT systems
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, SIEM, or similar systems
- A team player with a collaborative mindset
