Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Telecom Project Manager to join our engineering and deployment team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing end-to-end telecom projects with a heavy focus on Active Infrastructure.

Mandatory Requirement: The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing and successfully delivering projects specifically for Reliance Jio (Jio). Candidates without prior Jio project experience will not be considered.Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution

- End-to-end management of telecom projects from site acquisition/readiness through to commissioning and handover.
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements in alignment with Jio’s standard operating procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and safety standards.

2. Active Infrastructure Management

- Oversee the installation, commissioning, integration, and testing of Active Telecom Elements (e.g., eNodeB/gNodeB, Microwave links, Small Cells, Core Network routing, and Switching equipment).
- Coordinate closely with RF engineering, transmission, and operations teams to optimize network performance.

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for Jio’s regional teams, circle heads, and partner ecosystems.
- Manage vendors, subcontractors, and field engineers, ensuring optimal resource utilization and SLA compliance.




- Navigate and resolve technical bottlenecks and site-level escalations swiftly.

4. Reporting & Compliance

- Maintain real-time tracking of project progress using Jio-specific project management tools and portals.
- Provide regular milestone reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in Telecom Project Management.
- Jio Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience working on Jio rollouts/projects (either directly with Jio or through a Tier-1 vendor/partner). Thorough understanding of Jio’s process compliance, documentation, and tools is mandatory.
- Technical Domain: Deep hands-on knowledge of Active Telecom Infrastructure (4G/5G architecture, RAN, MW, IP networking) rather than purely passive/civil infrastructure.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
